Lilian was born in the Netherlands, where she trained as a social worker for children and young people and worked for many years in the field of disability. One day she went to Ausserfernen in Tyrol with a group of people with cognitive impairments and then she knew: she wanted to live there in the mountains, it was like going home. But something else came up: an accident with whiplash. Thanks to medical treatment and alternative treatment, she got back on her feet, but she still noticed that you see more than you think and you feel a lot more. During this time she got to know people from the Brennan Healing Science School and knew that she wanted to do this training too. In the meantime, when she arrived in Austria, she completed the 4-year training at the Barbara Ann Brannon School in addition to her work in life support . She kept coming across Peter Levine's work, Somatic Experiencing. The question: How do people work, how can someone be happier, how can someone develop their potential, fascinated her so much that she stuck with it. Giving good supervision is an essential part of her work - now as a trainer - to support students well in their careers, and overall to accompany and supervise people who work with people, especially in the social area. Another discovery led her to craniosacral touch, which can be wonderfully combined with what she has learned so far. This webinar was created in collaboration with SE International and EASE. Ana is the clinical director and supervisor for the Soma Healing Center in Boulder, CO. She has developed her studies in the areas of Anthroposophical Counseling, Sensory Processing and Somatic Experiencing. Ana specializes in working with the social nervous system. Her focus is on addressing the art of integrating sensory information in order to create embodiment, empowerment and coherence in our capacity to “experience” the other and ourselves. Ana works with families and individuals by facilitating attunement and promoting deeper awareness in regards to the power of healing through relationships. She works with birth and medical trauma, emotional regulation and trauma resultant from cultural fragmentation. She teaches and provides supervision to clinicians on the subject of trauma and healing nationally and outside the US.

Levine’s Ergo's Institute of Somatic Education and Somatic Experiencing®International (SEI) to develop an effective Somatic Experiencing®-based retreat protocol for the treatment of combat and military service related PTSD. She was also the Principal Investigator for the Returning Home Project, a quantitative research study that is based on the 2019 Returning Home retreat that took place in Northport, Maine. Alexandra's research focuses on practical neuroscience theory and heart-centered practices designed to develop heart-brain coherence and core heart feelings of love, compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, and equanimity. Her research has revealed the subjective meaning and group experience of heart intelligence and determined relevant clinical outcomes of Map of the Heart curriculum in the field of counseling psychology.

Dr. Cathy Lawi, PhD, PCC, is the Director of EmotionAid®. Graduating with honors from the doctorate program in the Geneva School of Pharmacy, Dr. Lawi became a director of oncology drugs for international corporations in Switzerland.
